Heart Pocket

 Made my February journal pocket using mixed media backgrounds, which I machine stitched together.

Tucked inside the pocket are two quirky Stampotique images and also a heart die cut which I turned into  altered paperclip.

All these images and embellishments were all coloured using Promarkers.

Snowman

 Going to try and continue making a Christmas card or two on or around Rudolph Day each month!

Starting with some Christmas snowman, a very old stamp but always a favourite!

Added some wintry blue glitter card and of course a sparkle of glitter/gems too. Images coloured using Promarkers.

I decided to go with a scrapling style card this month but fits into a C6 envelope.

Coffee Break

 I made this little card using a brand new AAll and Create stamp gifted to me at Christmas by a very kind friend. The image was coloured with Promarkers and I used some scrap mixed media background I had leftover. Finished off with a bit of stitching and some gems.

Pugs in a pocket

 

This year I have decided rather than to do a journal page each month I am going to make a journal pocket instead. I made my own mixed media background using paint, ink through stencils on A4 card and then turned it into a pocket.

The stamped images are by Funky Fossil…loving the Pugs! They were coloured using Promarkers pens. I even stamped one onto shrink plastic and used it on a mini moo to go inside my pocket. There is an altered paperclip and a tag as well.

Direction

 Starting  a new fabric journal for 2024.

Designed my own image and stitching ideas.

 Tried something new, tinted my stitching with wax crayons.

Enough

 Again this year I challenged myself to create an art journal page each month.

So here is December’s and my last page for 2023.

Inked through a couple of stencils for the background and stamped one of my girls by PaperArtsy.

 Managed to grab an hour at my craft table and create my art journal page for November.
