Summer Bees

A touch of summer in today’s post. I really enjoyed colouring these lovely Woodware images to create my little matchbook.

Warrior

Been a while since I have done a painting and the one is based on the following quote:

I worked in a Moleskine watercolour journal and used Neocolor crayons.

International Women’s Day

Proud to have one of my girls being exhibited as part of International Women’s Day at The Makers Mezzanine in Whitney on Wye.
All the works of art are postcard size and I decided to work on a wood block using acrylics, watercolour and of course some washie tape.
I added an inspirational quote which I felt reflected the theme #balanceforbetter.
All the works of art are for sale and a percentage of the profits will go to local women’s services in Herefordshire and Powys.

Happiness is...

Started with a Gelli print background in my paperbag journal. Added some stamping, foiling and frantage to the page. The image (Danielle Donaldson designs for Stamping Bella) is coloured using Copics/Promarkers and a touch of coloured pencil.
