Coin in my pocket

 Made an artist trading coin and also a little pocket to store it in.

Used some old papers by Funky Fossil Designs as well as Distress oxides for the backgrounds.

Image is called Lovely Leyla and that is also by Funky Fossil …it is such fun to ink up a brand new stamp.

Cosy Crafting

 

While having a craft tidy up I found this little mini canvas and decided it would be great for a little Christmas hanging decoration. The Zinski PaperArtsy image was stamped onto the canvas and then I used watercolour paint to colour it. To add more dimension I stamped the image onto watercolour paper and again water-coloured the image a few times to create decoupage effect.

Last Art Journal Pocket for 2024!

 

Inked up some new stamps by Funky Fossil Designs for my last journal pocket for the year.

Images were coloured using Promarkers

My pocket was created using mixed media of PaperArtsy Fresco paint, Ranger distress inks and three stencils by Crafters Workshop. As well as some snowflake stamping.

November Journal Pocket

 A couple of snowy days were a great excuse to stay indoors and craft so managed to get my art journaling done for November.

The basis of my pocket was an envelope template, working on cardstock I inked using Distress Inks, stencilling and stamping using PaperArtsy stamps.

The main images were coloured using Promarkers and coloured pencils. These were added to my pocket by making little card, tag and altered paper clip.

Creative Artiste GDT

 I am really pleased to be a guest designer over at Creative Artiste challenge this month for their mixed media challenge #110 which is as always ‘anything goes’.

I created this little pocket to store a couple of artist trading coins.

The cupcake rubber stamps are by Crafty Individual. 

The stamps used in the background were by Prima, PaperArtsy and an old star stamp which was a freebie on the Craft Stamper magazine years ago. I also did some stitching using my sewing machine.

I used paint, inks and coloured using Promarkers.

October Journal Pocket

 

Put the finishing touches to my mixed media journal pocket for October.

I inked up some new Funky Fossil Designs  stamps as the focal point. They were coloured using Promarkers. My pocket was creating using stamps, ink, paints and stencil…plus a touch of washi tape.

September Journal Pocket

 Inky background using three autumnal shade of Distress Inks and a couple of stencils. With lots of over stamping and a touch of washi tape.

Used a brand new set of rubber stamps by Crafty Individuals I was given for my birthday as the focal images within my pocket. I made an ATC to tuck in the pocket, an altered mini moo paperclip to embellish it and also a little hair slide closure on the front.
