My first online workshop...squeal!

I have almost turned blue over the past few months waiting to be able to announce the launch of my first ever online workshop in association with Traplet Publications! There are four workshops (each by different artists) available for streaming/download or you could purchase them all on DVD/Blu-ray.

Traplet Publications who also published Craft Stamper magazine gathered together four UK based artists on this project called Creating Faces. I am so proud to be part of that group along with Trish Latimer, Kim Dellow and Tracey Scott. If you would like to find out more about how to create a face in your art journal or mixed media project then I do hope you will head over to the website to look at the FREE INTRODUCTION and make your purchase.

Daydream

I have managed to finish a little lap quilt from the Live Love Sew BOM for 2015. So I can now be on the look out for a new quilting challenge for 2016. It is called the Daydream quilt because of the Moda Katie Spain fabric I used.

I decided to try a quilt as you go method and I am really pleased with how the backing turned out!

CASing...

the Purple Princess's card for this make and also got to use my new toy the Brother Scan n Cut.
The image is from a Tattered Lace USB image stick.

The inky background was created using some PA stamps and 2 shades of blue ink.
I am going to enter this card into the following challenges:
Allsorts: Whats New? (Tattered Lace die cut)
Crafty Calender: Something New
The ABC challenge: Your choice
Stamping Sensations: anything goes with a die

December page done!

and calendar art girl too, pleased to finish my self-challenge for 2015 on time!
Sharing this over at Paint Party Friday and Moo Mania and More.
Happy New Year Everyone!

And so to my challenge for 2016...well in a recent craft storage/stash sort out I found all of these never been used canvases...

so think 2016 is the perfect to chance to use the phrase 'use them or lose them!'
Anyone else hoarding some art stuff that needs using?

It is really interesting to see the amount of times your posts are viewed and that they by no means match the comments you are left on blog posts. Thanks to all those who both viewed my pages and left comments in 2015.

But my personal favourite project of 2015 was:

And in 2015 I was so pleased to be asked to start writing and creating for Craft Stamper Magazine.

I wonder what creative firsts 2016 will bring?
