StencilGirl and PaperArtsy Blog Hop!

Super excited to be part of the StencilGirl and PaperArtsy blog hop.
I got to play with 4 fab stencils designs.
They have such a wide range of stencils with designs to suit all tastes and styles.
It was also chance for me to showcase my stamp designs for PaperArtsy.
Find them HERE.

First up the Fresco paint colours I used in my project.

Worked with this large A4 stencil. Then covered with a layer of translucent paint.

Drip a few splodges of white paint onto the canvas sheet and rollered it out.

Once dry I went in with my second stencil working over the white patches using cut n dry foam.

Once trimmed down I inked edges and did stamping using some elements from my stamp sets. I use Black Archival and Neon Blue ink.

The girls were coloured with base layer of Promarkers and then shaded with coloured pencils.

Time for my third stencil add some interest to embellishments and the girls dress.

My collections of finished cards. The quotes were created using a 4th stencil by StencilGirl

Tag

This is a second project that I made in October, again I typed up the post but never actually pressed the publish button!

Time to do some more upcycling. I took a journal tag that was created for the PaperArtsy blog a couple of years ago and I turned it into a card. The sentiment is by Hunkydory.

Enjoy your festivities over the coming few days everyone. X

Bright Birthday

I am squeezing in a couple of blog posts projects that never got blogged...this one I typed into a post in August but never got posted.

Upcycled an old journal page which with sprayed with Dylusions inks and then stamped using Rainbow ink pad. Turned it into this birthday card and tied in the sewing by stitching it into card blank.

Red work

Christmas bag is done! Wanted to try out red work using one of my PaperArtsy girl stamps and it worked. So planning a large wall hanging in 2017 to celebrate the 10 stamp designs I created for PaperArtsy. I was so honoured to be asked to design for them but it is time to move on to pastures new...or in my case an empty pasture with no deadlines and freedom to be creative just for the pleasure of it. Though they have kindly left the door open if I wanted to return...Thank you all at PaperArtsy it has been a super creative adventure.

Christmas Lights

This blank light up star was just blank Kraft card product by docrafts. I bought it several months ago when the Christmas ranges first came out. So thought it was time to get it decorates! I covered the whole thing with a base coast of Nougat Fresco paint. Then stamps the Emma Godfrey stars using an old Brown staz on ink pad for a more faded look. Finally I stencilled through with some Mermaid Fresco paint to create the dotty snowflakes. It looks really lovely light up at night

I am going to enter my project into the following challenges:
Allsorts: Christmas Lights
Chrimbo Crackers: Non-traditional
Stamps and Stencils: Christmas
