New Direction

They say a change is good as a rest and so I am starting to sketch and paint a new face style.
Here she is:

My first thoughts...strong face shape but kind eyes.

Happiness is...finding a new creative path!
She was painted using acrylic paints and lots of shading using Faber Castell Pitt Pens and a little watercolour pencil.

Christmas Girls in July

Made a few more Christmas cards to add to my stash using one of my girls and coloured her using Flexmarkers. Her dress was paper pieced using pattern paper.
Stamped a fun sentiment inside each card!

More upcycling

I need quite a few cards in July and once again I rummaged through my loose journal pages to create this one. It was trimmed down, I added a little sparkle pen and did some more stamping on the card blank to tie everything together. My upcycled journal page was painted using acrylics and watercolours.
