What I did in the holidays!

Back to work tomorrow and the first day at school has to be the age old...what I did in my holidays. Here is what I have been doing over my week off. It is surprising what you can make out of 5 fat quarters. I even managed to add a little personalised number plate onto my pin cushion I made using my new Elna embroidery machine. The storage box now has some new sewing books and more fat quarters in it.

I have signed up to be part of a 'journal circle' with some PaperArtsy fans. A long term commitment as we pass around the journals over several months but should be fun and a challenge.

Week 21 The Documented Life project. I did some simple ink work this week using Emma Godfrey's PaperArtsy stamps.

A little stitch

Here is a little stitching project I have been working on. The fabric background was coloured using inktense blocks and have been rummaging in my old jewellery stash for the little hanger. I used one of my old journal girl images which I printed onto fabric as the focal image.
