Week 15...
the documented life project using acrylics. No sketching on this piece straight in with layers of acrylic and then finished with chinagraph pencil to add detail. I am going to share this over at Paint Party Friday.

Playing...
with watercolour. April's theme for the documented life project. My old Newton and Winsor palette is 20 years old and hasn't been used for at least 15, so long overdue for a revisit. Here is my page, with a touch of ink pen and Gelatos to finish off:
I am going to share my page over at Paint Party Friday and Mixed Media World challenge 'bright colours'.

Something a bit...
different today- a fabric journal. Taken days to get it finished but I didn't let my dodgy mojo beat me! I created a painted fabric background (using a Andy Skinner stencil and Dina Wakely paints) and added some stamping. Then rummaged through my art work and printed some of my past girlies onto fabric. The quotes were also printed and I covered them in gloss glaze.
I am going to share this project over at Paint Party Friday, A sprinkle of imagination with their 'anything goes' theme and The ABC challenge 'Go Digi'.

Strong and Confident
A really simple colour combo but feels bold and confident, as the journaling says.
She seems to shiny quiet confidence too.
All my girls in this journal are drawn straight onto the page using pen so I suppose you could argue that makes me strong and confident too (though I am far from that!)
I am going to enter this journal page into Papertake Weekly 'anything goes' challenge.

Calendar Girl Art
Another of my girls on an old calendar. I am going to share it over at Paint Party Friday and a new challenge blog called Stamps and Stencils (I used both in this project).
