February Calendar Girl

As I said in January I have decided to use an old calendar to do some girlie art work in. Here is my February page and I used fabric for her dress:

I am sharing my art work over at Paint Party Friday and Mix It Up monthly.

Ledger Girl on Black

Tonight over at the PaperArtsy blog I share some of the process involved in creating this girlie portrait onto black gesso. I used JOFY new Fresco Paint colours and also added a few images from Emma Godfrey's new stamp designs.

Journal Girl Page

Here is my art journal page for Week 7 of the documented life project. The theme was cover up so I worked on a gelli print background I had been saving and covered most of it up with my girl.

I am going to share my journal page over at Crafty Calendar, Our Creative Corner with their Tic Tac Toe (mine was stencils, stamps and paints) and AJED.

Paint Party Friday

Here is a quick step by step project using 1 of  my new images for PaperArtsy. I choose one of the trio of backgrounds I made which had the white space in a place I liked! I have used my favourite technique of late wiping through a stencil.

I am sharing her over at Paint Party Friday.

New Launch...

of four brand new stamp designs I have been working on for PaperArtsy and I think it is probably no surprise that they features lots of faces! I was very fortunate to be able to choose my own team of crafters/artists to work with my new designs. Here are my new designs and some samples I made for the NEC trade fair 'Stitches'.
